Chail is a beautiful hill station located in Himachal Pradesh and spread across three hillocks: Rajgarh, Pandewa and Sadh Tiba. It overlooking the valley of Sutlej and enjoys pleasant climate throughout the year.
Chail togheter to Kufri and Shimla formed the Golden Triangle of Himachal Pradesh and offers stunning view of the mountains and captivating natural beauty makes it a fine place to visit. Lots of trekking trails lead from Chail to Shimla, Choor Peak, Kali Temple and other places. Angling is a popular activity undertaken in Giri River, a few kilometers away from Chail.
Chail Wildlife Sanctuary attracts a large number of nature lovers and wildlife photographers and you can spot a wide variety of flora and fauna that includes animals like Himalayan black deer, common langur, sambar, goral, wild boar, among others.
Kali ka Tibba is a popular shrine in Chail that is often visited by people from nearby towns and villages apart from tourists.

Chail Palace
Chail palace, which is set in approximately 75 acres of land, was built in 1891. The palace is also known as Maharaja Bhupinder Singh’s.

Gurudwara Sahib
Situated in Pandhawa hillocks, Gurudwara sahib is a small Sikh shrine surrounded by lush greenery.

Kali ka Tibba
Located on top of a hill, Kali ka Tibba is a temple and a must visit place in Chail.

Sidh Baba Ka Mandir
Sidh Baba Ka Mandir is situated on a hill between Pandhawa and Rajgarh. Dedicated Sidh Baba, the temple is an important religious site in Chail.

Chail Wildlife Sanctuary
Chail Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the most well-maintained wildlife sanctuaries and has a rich collection of flora and fauna. Situated in the Himalayan ranges at a height of 7152 feet, the wildlife sanctuary boasts of salubrious climate, magnificent views and a rich cover of greenery. The sanctuary is a paradise for nature lovers and bird watchers.
Apart from experiencing the exotic wildlife, one can also indulge in adventurous and leisurely activities such as trekking, angling and bird watching. Angling is a popular activity undertaken in Gaura River. Several trekking trails pass through the sanctuary. Kandaghat-Chail, Chail-Shimla via Junga, Chail Rajgarh, etc. are some of the most popular trails that pass through the park. Small treks from Kali ka Tibba conclude at Gaura River and Jhajjha in the park.
