Corbett National Park, founded in 1936 under the name Hailey National Park and renamed Ramganga National Park in 1952, took its current name in 1957 from Jim Corbett, the famous naturalist and photographer. The Corbett Falls offer a small but impressive view: they come from a height of about 60 feet and are set against the backdrop of a scenic green forest. It is really worth looking at the waterfall during the full moon period.
The large area around the falls is a very nice picnic spot.
